“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do…… And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson from A Return to Love
I see so many women in midlife frustrated by unfulfilled dreams and big ideas. They’re ready to change course and do something that makes a difference. They suddenly find themselves prime time women, without having released even a fraction of their potential. I have friends and clients that have amazing talents to share, humor seasoned with a lifetime of experiences, career strengths and successes that would empower them in business and provide incredible value for others, and a willingness to work hard, but they have put their passion for building their own business or brand on hold, or ignored it completely.
Prime Time Women, Think Bigger
Well, prime time women, it’s time to serve up your entrepreneurial passion, follow your heart, and liberate yourself! You’re never too old to start launching a business, to fulfill your dreams, and make a difference. You were born with a unique potential. Midlife can be a time of re-creation and rebirth, where you can take those life experiences, reinvent yourself and create an authentic business that expresses YOU!
2010 was a transformational year for me. Early in the year, I made a decision to change course, think bigger, and build my own brand and empire. Has it happened overnight? Absolutely not! Building an empire takes time and effort. It takes a big picture plan that requires step by step implementation, sometimes even stepping backwards at times before seeing progress. It takes leverage in the form of systems, so it can run on autopilot and I can still enjoy life. It takes support, in the form of mentoring and accountability, and it takes focus, consistency, objectivity, and commitment.
Every successful entrepreneur I talk with says the same thing. You don’t have to know everything, or even do everything right…you just need to get started! Maybe you’re at that place of “getting started”.
Are you ready to serve up your entrepreneurial passion and let your light shine?
I did, and I hope you’ll join me.
Please share your passion with me! Let me know how I can help you get started.
