Expand Your Business in the Next 90 Days
Are you ready to expand your business and brand in the next quarter of your business? Publishing a book is one of the great ways to add to your content marketing strategy. You may have most of a book already written and just need help organizing and re-purposing content that exists in your toolbox. We can help you with that!
I enjoyed collaborating in my areas of expertise, mind mapping, business launching, and business growth, with the expert training of Mary Lou, an entrepreneur, speaker, and author, who has been teaching writing for over 15 years, and the experience of Holli Rovenger, who is an Amazon best-selling author and promoter of her series of books on empowerment. Together we have launched PublishPromoteProfit.com, a program to help aspiring authors get a book written, published, promoted, and adding profit to their business. This project was a great expansion to my offers, while keeping me in alignment with my bigger vision for Leta Russell International LLC.
Did you know that 82% of people want to write a book? Are you among them? Less than 5%, however, get a book written and published? You’ve probably heard recently from multiple experts that writing a book is both profitable and easy. Neither of those statements may be wholly true. Yes, it is easier to write and publish a book than ever before. But, to push out a book in a few days, based on a template doesn’t mean that it reflects you authentically, or that the book is good. As for profit, unless your book is promoted effectively and placed into a well-planned funnel, you may simply see your book get added to the long list of authors who never get seen.
However, writing and publishing a book is a wonderful way to enrich yourself and the lives of your readers, build value and position yourself as an expert, elevate your status and worth in the marketplace, expand your business and brand, and open doors to new opportunities.
3 tips for making sure a book is leveraged to expand your business and maximize your credibility, visibility, and profits.
- Fit it into your bigger plan. Remember, a book may be your potential client’s first impression of YOU. Like any other content, it must start with the right idea and be packed with value and benefits for the reader. What needs does it address and what solutions does it offer? Does it reflect your brand and areas of expertise? How does it fit with your bigger business mission and vision? Starting your book with the end in mind will mean your book is congruent, relevant, and worth the time it will take to write, publish and promote it, since it will ultimately expand your business and enhance your profits.
- Have a promotion and publicity plan in place. Do you have a platform to promote your book and brand to generate new potential clients and generate profit? Many people are sold on writing a book without knowing what to do to launch the book effectively for maximum exposure and enhanced business results.
- Leverage your book to enhance profits. If you have a business, be sure to have additional products in place as part of a leveraged funnel. If you don’t have a business, use your book idea as a starting point for creating a business behind the book and build it as you write. Write a book to enrich your readers and provide value first. A book is probably not going to create enough profit on its own anyway, but is the perfect vehicle for establishing value and building trust, then driving traffic to additional sales of products and services.
